What we do
Our broadest experience has been in infrastructure planning and design, land development, land surveying, and property acquisition. SELS can perform several types of land services from boundary/retracement surveys to the most complex subdivision and facility projects. The company's services include ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, boundary retracement, asbuilt/topographic surveys, construction and transportation surveys, site development, roadway and paving, and aerial photogrammetry control. We provide surveying support for engineering projects in the areas of water lines, sanitary sewer, water waste facilities, storm sewer, forensic surveys, and construction observation.
SELS also provides land acquisition services to state, counties, and municipalities. To help in delivering land surveying services, SELS employs six full time employees.
Company history
Southeastern Land Surveying, Inc. (SELS) was started in 2003. The founders of the company saw a need and opportunity to provide high quality professional land surveying services to a variety of clients generally in central and southern Alabama. Since then, additional services have been added to the company including subsidence monitoring and laser scanning. In addition to a diversification of services, SELS has also geographically extended its service area to include all of Alabama.
